Video is an extremely powerful, and under-utilized, medium for marketers. Whether your company sells products, services, or experiences, video is the natural next step to increase the effectiveness of your marketing.
In fact, web users viewing videos stay two minutes longer and are 64% more likely to buy something and 96% of shoppers find videos helpful when making purchase decisions online. Video is no longer a “want to have” marketing tactic.
I recently spoke at conferences in New Orleans and Wichita and helped people understand that shooting great video doesn’t have to involve hiring a video agency or even spending thousands of dollars on high-end video equipment. In many cases, you can shoot a great web video using little more than your smartphone.
